At Ashton Service Centre we are big believers in investing in technology and kit and this can be seen in the amount of diagnostic kit that we have. We probably have more kit than most independent specialists:
wiTECH™ Access Gateway
The wiTECH™ Access Gateway is a diagnostic tool network that provides secure, reliable wireless communications capability and firewall protection, taking the burden of tool network setup out of the hands of the technician.
wiTECH™ VCI Pod
The wiTECH™ VCI Pod allows communication to the vehicle, similar to a StarMOBILE device, but at less than half the cost. Multiple wiTECH™ VCI Pods and StarMOBILE devices can be supported by a single wiTECH™ Access Gateway.
wiTECH™ Diagnostic Application
This all-new diagnostic application replaces the existing StarMOBILE Desktop Client Application and contains significant enhancements to improve technician efficiency. It’s more intuitive, faster, and provides vehicle data and service information at the same time. It connects to both StarMOBILE devices and the new wiTECH™ VCI Pod.
Daimler Chrysler Starscan
The StarSCAN™ Diagnostic Scan Tool is an electronic service tool produced by the Chrysler Corporation and supports diagnostic services for the Chrysler Group CAN-equipped vehicles. CAN was selected as a worldwide automotive standard for its robust error-handling and error-detection capabilities. The Chrysler Group vehicles using CAN include the 2004 Dodge Durango and all 2005 and beyond Chrysler Group vehicles.
Chrysler Jeep DRB iii
This device is intended for complete diagnostics of electronic systems on automobiles Chrysler. This device carries out complete diagnostics, adaptation of all new automobiles Chrysler. The DRB III hardware will interface to electronic modules on all vehicles sold by Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. It is a rugged portable scan tool with specially developed software for automotive diagnostics.
Panasonic VAS 6150
With diagnosis system VAS 6150B, coupled with the VAS PC diagnosis software, we are equipped with the latest hardware of the tried and tested diagnosis generation.
Thanks to modular test instrument technology, VAS 6150B can be used alongside VAS 6160 or the trusted diagnosis unit VAS 5052A for all diagnosis and technical measuring tasks.
Connection of hybrid testing module VAS 6558 or test instrument box VAS 6356 and also vehicle communication via remote diagnosis head VAS 5054A (wireless) or diagnosis interface VAS 5055A (wired) is possible.
In addition to the diagnosis software, other systems used in the Volkswagen organisation, such as ELSA, can also be installed on VAS 6150B.
